Mixing is Complete

We spent our last day with our producer, Tony Battaglia on Sunday. It’s been an absolute blast working with Tony and enjoying the company of fellow ‘hawks throughout the process. We came home on Sunday with the final mixes in our hands, and the EP (5 songs, which will be our debut as a band) will be handed off to our good friend Justin Perkins of Mystery Room Mastering & Recording to master the tracks into the final product. We’ll be posting more information about the release and a killer EP Release Party we’re planning in the coming weeks!

Good news on the home front! We are nearing completion on the recording side of things for our debut EP! We are busy finishing up acoustic guitar and vocals, and then it’s time to ship it off to our producer/mixer/guru Tony Battaglia for mixing. We couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out! Here’s another little snippet for your ears…

If You Need Truth: Day One (Drums)

Today we set off on a journey that is putting together a record, and it was a fun but exhausting day. We just got home from a long first day of tracking for the upcoming EP, which will be entitled “If You Need Truth” (if you’re on Twitter, you can follow progress by following us @redhawksband, and we will be using the hashtag #ifyouneedtruth).
